Chris Jordan is a licensed funeral director/embalmer and fitness consultant who has been serving the Greater Vancouver Regional District for over a decade.  Chris was encouraged to follow an exercise program from the time he was a toddler and as such has gained knowledge and experience in health and nutrition through his personal experiences.

In 1984, Chris was the Pepsi Cola Soccer Skills Award Competition Provincial Champion and Canadian Runner-Up.  In 1987, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, which prompted his special interest in studying health and nutrition, a subject that he continues to pursue to this day.  Chris has followed a resistance training and cardio vascular exercise program for the past twenty years.  Through this discipline, a healthy diet and most importantly, due to God’s Sovereign Grace in all of it, he has been in remission from Crohn’s for over twenty years.

Chris’s University studies included English, French, Psychology, Anatomy/Physiology, Psychology of Grief and Sociology.  By careful consultation with other experienced natural alternative health practitioners, Chris endeavors to offer the best health advice available based on his personal experience and research.

Chris began informal theological studies in 1998 and his articles have been helpful in understanding the essentials of the Christian faith. In terms of theology, Chris is not a pastor teacher, but is a follower of the only true and living God who has revealed Himself to mankind in the Trinity: God The Father, God The Son (The Savior, Jesus) and God The Holy Spirit. Chris believes in the infallibility of the Holy Bible and in the mandate to: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
